🫎 Is Far Cry 6 Open World

Far Cry 6 is here, bringing it's unique blend of open-world chaos and terrifying villains to the next generation. If Ubisoft's latest open-world offering has you a little overwhelmed, or you just Because one has an actual story made by a developer who gives a shit about their IP and one is a rinse repeat rehash of a 12 year old game formula that got boring with Far Cry 3. 343 improved Halo by making it open world. Far Cry is always open world. In order to retrieve them, Dani must traverse through different variations of Yara, completing challenges and fighting the denizens of the strange world, known as Shardfaces. Now I’m all for Far Cry’s tendency to lean into absurdity, but this concept is pushing it. The feel of the entire experience just feels like such a mismatch for Far Cry 6. Far Cry 6 is a waste of potential. Destructiod 7.5/10. In a vacuum, Far Cry 6 is a great open-world action romp, and I should love it without caveats. Plenty of fans will. But when we’ve seen these same old tricks so many times before, year after year. True Achievements 9/10. Last year’s Far Cry 6 was a good game.
